Tour de Southampton Town Beaches

On August 2, 2022 Peter Schaefer designed and executed the “Tour de Southampton Town Beaches,” a 47.55 mile point to point line that hits all the Town of Southampton Beaches by road bike. Starting at Pikes Beach west of the Shinnecock Canal, Shaefer pedaled east to tag Hot Dog, Tiana, Ponquoque, Flying Point, Mecox, Scott Cameron, Sagg Main, and Long Beach.

This ride was completed solo in a total of 3 hours and 47 seconds with an average speed of 15.7 mph.
